student at academy

Seven Hills Academy at Groton is a private, DESE-approved special education day program, which is open 251 days per year for children and young adults with complex medical and developmental disabilities. The Academy supports residents of Seven Hills Pediatric Center as well as children from surrounding communities whose unique learning needs can best be met within our multidisciplinary learning environment.

The philosophy of the academy is that students can grow, develop, learn, and contribute to their community.

Our highly qualified and experienced educators and therapists provide an educational program that addresses the complex needs of our students by providing comprehensive allied health, medical, nursing, speech pathology, and assistive technology services. Individualized therapies are integrated into the fabric of each child’s program including behavior therapy, and physical and occupational therapy along with massage, and music and art therapy. Assistive technology as well as wheelchairs, braces, and hand splints are all customized to fit as the children grow.

The Academy is open 251 days per year.

Seven Hills Academy at Groton is located at the Seven Hills Pediatric Center in Groton, an award-winning pediatric skilled nursing community in beautiful Groton, Massachusetts.
